CurtimusPrime Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 here's a workflow of my desired results hotkey (manual function trigger) hotkey (loop on) (automatic repeating) hotkey (loop off) global variable for 0= off 1=on (0 initially) hotkey function to set loop on hotkey function to set loop off if logic to allow manual trigger with loop off execute manual hotkey functions elseif logic to detect loop on execute loop functions (not hotkeyed)

CurtimusPrime Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 so basically i want to be able to manually trigger a function with keybind but be able to detect y or n setting a global to repeat
CurtimusPrime Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 HotKeySet("a", "Actions") HotKeySet("y", "RepeaterOn") HotKeySet("n", "RepeaterOff") Global $Repeater = 0 While 1 Sleep(100) WEnd Func RepeaterOn() $Repeater = 1 EndFunc Func RepeaterOff() $Repeater = 0 EndFunc ;here come my errors if $Repeater = 0 then Func Actions() HotKeySet("a") Sleep(1000) Send("a") ;do stuff HotKeySet("a", "Actions") EndFunc elseif $Repeater = 1 then Func RepeatMode() HotKeySet("a") Sleep(750) Send("a") ;do stuff HotKeySet("a", "Actions") Else exit EndIf EndIf
CurtimusPrime Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 broken code lol error tester goes crazy
AutoBert Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) Func in func is not allowed in AutoIt, see Remarks to Keyword Func in helpfile: Quote Note that function declarations cannot appear inside other function declarations. Edited March 29, 2016 by AutoBert
CurtimusPrime Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 how would i make it so i have one hotkey to do manual operations and others to trigger infinitely looping operations as long as global is 1 ie a 0=off/1=on toggle

CurtimusPrime Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 if then statements arent func in func
CurtimusPrime Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 i thought i was closing all functions so they could run side by side (same time but not conflicting except for changing global triggers)
CurtimusPrime Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 if then elseif else are keyword not functions right?
