noellarkin Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Hey! I've been using this for managing some PST files and it works really well! Can I use this UDF to automate adding new accounts to my outlook install? (ie the process that goes File > Info > Add Account)
water Posted April 27, 2023 Author Posted April 27, 2023 Not that I know of. But I think you can create/update a profile (*.prf) and then start Outlook using the /importprf command line switch. water Posted April 28, 2023 Author Posted April 28, 2023 I do not think this is possible on the mailitem level - just on a folder level. HighlanderSword Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 ok, I will do some more digging , it can be done from the GUI by right clicking the email and the Assign Policy and the Retention Policy and you pick from the list

gcue Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 not sure if you are back already - just want to see if i am on the right track hope you had / are having a great break thanks!
water Posted November 7, 2023 Author Posted November 7, 2023 When using Restrict to find items it does an exact match. So in your example you would only get meetings with subject "meeting". Use parameters $sSearchName and SearchValue to do an partial match e.g. "meeting" for "meeting with IT" and "urgent meeting". To get the recipients call _OL_ItemRecipientGet for each returned meeting and pass the EntryID. Add some error checking to your script for easy debugging! gcue Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 (edited) thank you for your help i am able to pull what seems all un-ended meetings with this syntax $aResult = _OL_ItemFind($oOutlook, "*\Calendar", $olAppointment, "", "", "", "Subject,Start,End,IsRecurring,EntryID", "", 2) i see several recurring meetings when they start and when they end. is there a way to only pull meetings that are taking place on a particular day (ie: today)? of course start and end date on a recurring meeting does not always mean the particular meeting is occurring on a given day Edited November 8, 2023 by gcue
