Handle unexpected pop ups

Recommended Posts

RakeshMN

Hi all, i am new to this tool. I am stuck with the below scenario. Kindly help out.

I login to a browser and click on an option which will give windows pop up to download the jar file.  --> Handled using Autoit

Then it will try to launch, but there will be pop-ups coming which include security-related and also some pop-ups include checkboxes. They do not have ClassnameNN and title will be security confirmation. Each time the recurrence of popups will be different.

(the first time when i launch:) 1 popup with just continue option, next to a pop up with checkbox and then the 1st pop up coming again etc.

(Second time when i launch):  1 popup with just continue option, again same option, then comes a pop up with checkbox etc..

How to handle this?

RakeshMN,

Those pop-ups occur for valid security reasons: "The connection to this website is untrusted" & "Running this application may be a security risk". As such, I consider that they fall under this prohibition in the Forum rules:

Quote

Bypassing of security measures - log-in and security dialogs

Therefore we will not assist in their automation and this thread will be locked.
