AutoIt & BI Reporting

I am new to the world of AutoIT. Also I am not sure if this is the right foru or I need to re-directing it to another Sub-forum.

I would like to know if it is possible to

1. raise tickets in ITSM tools such as Service Now based on emails that arrive in Outlook or
2. Automate Access Management/User Provisioning in Informatica or for that matter any tool

Any advice to learn AutoIt do the basics to start with will be great. I have been with VB and .NET and Datawarehousing for ages.

hello @nottyheadedboss, welcome to AutoIt and to the forum.

if you have been a programmer of whatever level for some time, you must be familiar with the API concept. google "ServiceNow API" and "Informatica API" i see they both offer the solution to your requirements. API can be implemented in practically any programming and scripting language, and AutoIt is no different - but you will have to study the API specifications for the service you wish to interact with.

Answer to both question is YES. It could also be done in several ways - not using the SNOW or Informatica APIs. SNOW has integration with Outlook so the things with the mails is a standard solution.
