During PC is busy, when following code is executed, I get error, which is caused by not IsObj() as shown on below image,

Error10.png

Do
    Sleep(3000)
    Global $otradeLog1 = _IEGetObjById($oIE, "tradeLog1")
      if @error then ConsoleWrite ( "@Error" & @LF)
      if $otradeLog1 = Null then ConsoleWrite ( "$otradeLog1 <> Null" & @LF)
      if Not IsObj($otradeLog1) then ConsoleWrite ( "Not IsObj($otradeLog1)" & @LF)
   Until (not @error) and $otradeLog1 <> Null and IsObj($otradeLog1)

Even through repeat to call _IEGetObjById, it still get error, I would like to know on how to reset it within Do loop in order to get the task done.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Return Value

Success: an object variable pointing to the specified Object.
Failure: sets the @error flag to non-zero.
@error: 3 ($_IEStatus_InvalidDataType) - Invalid Data Type
7 ($_IEStatus_NoMatch) - No Match

How do you know that this is the source of the error? I would guess that it's coming from _IEGetObjById. Remove the COM error handler and see which line is actually failing.

Also, I believe your use of @error in the Do loop is wrong because you aren't saving the value, which will change when you execute additional command. Try changing your code like this --

Global $otradeLog1, $iError

Do
    Sleep(3000)
    $otradeLog1 = _IEGetObjById($oIE, "tradeLog1")
    $iError = @error
    if $iError then ConsoleWrite ( "@Error = " & $iError & @LF)
    if $otradeLog1 = Null then ConsoleWrite ( "$otradeLog1 = Null" & @LF)
    if Not IsObj($otradeLog1) then ConsoleWrite ( "Not IsObj($otradeLog1)" & @LF)
Until (not $iError) and $otradeLog1 <> Null and IsObj($otradeLog1)

@error return 7 ($_IEStatus_NoMatch) - No Match

Error11.png

I would like to know on what "($_IEStatus_NoMatch) - No Match" mean, when I look at IE (html), the required data "tradeLog1" from " _IEGetObjById" is shown, why does it still return @error 7? Is there any approach to refresh the following command to update "tradeLog1" from " _IEGetObjById" within Do Loop?

Global $otradeLog1 = _IEGetObjById($oIE, "tradeLog1")

Furthermore, when $Error = 7, what do following error checking do?

 if $iError then ConsoleWrite ( "@Error = " & $iError & @LF), which is equal to following as shown below

 if 7 then ConsoleWrite ( "@Error = " & 7 & @LF), which do not seem making any sense on error checking.

Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you very much for any suggestions (^v^)

Using ContinueLoop would stop the rest of process and restart the do loop from the beginning, but following code would never be refreshed, and keep getting error message within loop forever.  I would like to know on how to refresh any setting, so object ID can be found and execute following coding successfully.

Global $otradeLog1 = _IEGetObjById($oIE, "tradeLog1")

Do
    Sleep(3000)
    Global $otradeLog1 = _IEGetObjById($oIE, "tradeLog1")
      $iError = @error
      if $iError then
            ConsoleWrite ( "@Error = " & $iError & @LF)
            ContinueLoop
            ConsoleWrite ( "ContinueLoop " & @LF)
      EndIf
      if $otradeLog1 = Null then
         ConsoleWrite ( "$otradeLog1 = Null" & @LF)
         ContinueLoop
         ConsoleWrite ( "ContinueLoop " & @LF)
      EndIf
      if Not IsObj($otradeLog1) then ConsoleWrite ( "Not IsObj($otradeLog1)" & @LF)

   Until (not @error) and $otradeLog1 <> Null and IsObj($otradeLog1)

--> IE.au3 T3.0-2 Error from function _IEGetObById, $_IESTATUS_InvalidObjectType
@Error = 7

Do you have any suggestions?

the above should look like this:

Do
    Sleep(3000)
    Global $otradeLog1 = _IEGetObjById($oIE, "tradeLog1")
      $iError = @error
      if $iError then
            ConsoleWrite ( "@Error = " & $iError & @LF)
            ContinueLoop
      EndIf
Until IsObj($otradeLog1)

This will run forever until the object appears in the IE window. This is what you want to accomplish, right?

The above suggestion is not a good practice as the object may never appear in the IE page and the script will run forever. It is better to put it in a limited for loop (for example try 20 times) or adjust it some other way to ensure that the script exits even if the object doesnt appear.

Referring to following image, does anyone know on what error it is?

It does not mention on what variable is.

Error1.png

When I execute 28.exe 3 times at the same time manually, there is no error, but when it runs within loop, sometime not always occurs this error message.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks, to everyone very much for any suggestions (^v^)
