Is it possible to extract pre-filled credentials on a website into the script?

All I want is to make a script that will work as a single sign-on. I want to capture the credentials that are present on the website and use them in the script.

P.S.: I'm using Google Chrome as a browser.

I'm not sure that I understand your scenario. Can you elaborate? Also, how would you manually capture these credentials?

The scenario is that the website stores credentials to log into the website. All I want is to capture those credentials and automate the login process so that the users don't have to enter credentials for login.

Ask user once for their credential, store them, use them.

Why you need to capture instead asking user ?

I agree with @mLipok . Most browsers have their own password manager.

..the code would be ( give or take )

Send('password')
Send('{ENTER}')

..that way they get that filled in or use Bitwarden or the like.

Now, say that someone post the code for what you want, run the script, for say, a bank login. See the problem ?

Such would be a brake of forum rules, EULA of the service provider and overall irresponsible.

This whole idea is against our forum rules as this feels you are trying to monitor others typing & capturing their UserId&Password!
