Did someone have a tantrum on August 5, 2009? Seems like every Ascen4nt's post I come across about 64bit is erased.

Here is a set of functions to convert signed or unsigned Int64 to/from any base in [2, 37].

Func _IntToString($i, $base = 16)

X86 programs do handle (u)int64 as well as X64 programs! The difference lies in pointers size only.

If you supply an int32 to _IntToString() it will be internally converted to int64 as dictated by DllCall parameters.

I'm confused...why would 32bit OS convert anything into 64bit?

Again the only diff in datatypes between X86 and X64 is size of pointers.

I guess 32bit OS would somehow know what "uint64:cdecl" or "int64" are? I mean, whatever these strings are, there must be some kind of internal reference to handle them appropriately, right?

To convince yourself, run this as X86 then as X64 to get the very same result.

Certainly, but who can do more, can do less and for the same price!

Agree, like 16bits machines could natively perform 32bits arithmetic, 32bits machines can perform 64bits as well.  But the "advantage" of those 32bits functions is that they will return 32bits result no matter how large you input to them without additional effort from our part (if that was the requirement).  Otherwise there is not much addition to use them.
