So I want to automate the clicking of buttons in a web browser without actually having them clicked, so basically I want these buttons to be clicked via the programs memory, how can I do this?

If you want to click the buttons of a web site displayed in your browser and your browser is IE then the IE UDF is the place to start. The IE UDF is included with AutoIT.

Just have a look in the help file.

There are automation libraries for the Internet Explorer (the IE UDF) and for Firefox (FF UDF). But I don't think there is a library that lets you automate Chrome.

Did you search the forum for "chrome browser" already?

Next time could be a little more specific please. Unfortuantely there are many web browsers in todays market so it can be a little difficult to guess what people are using :)

As far as I am aware the IE Functions use the IE COM Engine, so even if you think you have uninstalled Internet Explorer the Engine is still present. I would suggest you have a look at this too >> http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/forum-2/announcement-12-game-bots-and-automation/

already looked at it, I want to automate my browser by reading its memory.

I have posted an AutoIT library and example script to automate browser actions easily using AutoIT.

We use the ability to inject Javascript and the fact that the desired page probably has JQuery to easily manipulate IE.

If the target page does not have JQuery then you can add to the library to inject the library with JS on page load.
