Issue with older version of AutoIT code

Hi,

I recently opened one of my scripts I created a few years ago.

I have started using AutoIT again and need to modify my script. However, it seems as if something has changed since the release I used a few years ago as I can no longer compile my code.

It seems as if something has changed with ControlClick() ? The error can be seen here: www.jlbdesigns.co.uk/issue_with_code.png.

Which version of AutoIt did you use a few years ago? Which version do you use now?

Hi. The version I used a few years ago was v3.2.10.0

The version I am using now is the latest one downloaded from the AutoIT website today.

What changed between versions can be found in the History.

How ControlClick works in the latest version can be found in the help file.

I've had a look at the help file for ControlClick() but it looks the same to me, apart from the extra bit for left, right etc.

Not quite sure what I need to change. Hmmm

The error message clearly states that parameter 4 is wrong.

Okay. But the arguments available have changed to left, right, middle etc.

Originally I used the button name (I think) and don't understand how this relates to positions.

I can only think that I should remove argument 4 completely.

Parameter 4 is for the button of the mouse to be clicked not for the name of the button (ControlID) to click on.

What do you mean with: don't understand how this relates to positions?

I think you need to go back to the application and use Au3Info to extract information about the buttons you're clicking.
