Issue with _FTP_FilePut of files on remote server

Hey all,

So I am working on an app that lets you zip up and ftp an entire folder. I have successfully tested ftp transfer of files that are local to the machine the app is running on. However what I really want to do is FTP files that are located on a NAS device. So for instance:

Using the path: nas01fileshareVM1 which contains virtual machine files, my ftp function consistently fails when trying to ftp these files. I even tried to map that share to a drive letter such as Z: yet it still fails. Does anyone have any suggestions here? One may suggest me to copy the files to the local pc first, and then ftp put them. But the problem with that is the files are very large often 40GB and this is not what I want to do.

P.S. - ignore the arrays in this snippet with specific array variables such as [1] or [2], as that is only for testing, the final product would include a loop to run through all enumerated files in the folder

Thanks in advance,

Tim

Func ftp()

   Local $x
   Local $Open = _FTP_Open('FTP Control')
   Local $Conn = _FTP_Connect($Open, $ftpsvr, $username, $password)
      If $Conn = 0 Then
MsgBox(0, "FTP Error", "Failure to connect to FTP")
             Exit
      EndIf
   Local $FTPut = _FTP_FilePut($Conn, $FileList[1], $FileList[1])
   If $FTPut = 0 Then
             MsgBox(0, "FTP Error", "Failure to Upload File " & $FileList[2] & " to FTP")
      EndIf
      If $FTPut = 1 Then
             MsgBox(0, "FTP Success", "Upload of file " & $FileList[2] & " was successful.")
      EndIf

   Local $Ftpc = _FTP_Close($Open)

EndFunc
