The thing is that adding a directive doesn't do anything unless i also add some code to autoit3wrapper to process it.

When you are looking for added functionality you will have to define in exact terms what it is that you would like to see added, but bare in mind that this will only happy when its use is for a wider audience.

I am aware of that - I left it by implication.

Don't know how articulate it, but if in you open 2 different scripts with the same name (from different locations) in SciTE, and then make syntax check on second opened script, you get "jump" to the first script page and errors of second script will be shown shown on first script page. .

 

Also - is it possible - to make custom button on SciTE Toolbar with custom function ? Like open (and save) new blank script file in some folder with auto-incremented name "test_888.au3" (if "test_887.au3" already exist)

Not in SciTE itself but there have been some projects that would add a toolbar on top of the SciTE editor and would allow your own icon's to be added.

its strange - just other day i had this issue, but now i can't reproduce it. I  will try to remember and post then. sorry.

        bla bla bla

just try to add new $var to #forceref directive, and try to delete this new $var

I'm doing a review of my old programs

 

I use the directive

#AutoIt3Wrapper_Au3Check_Parameters=-d -w 1 -w 2 -w 3 -w- 4 -w 5 -w 6 -w- 7

 

I've encountered a problem with the program AU3Check

 

EDIT Communication Warrning message with line number 1769 is untrue because the specified variable is used in line 1785

To check this variable is highlighted in line number 1769 and SciTE automatically highlights it in line 17485 1785

Right away I'm sorry but I do not know how to do this REPRO CODE, but I try to.

Assignment doesn't mean you are using the variable. If you aren't reading it, there's no point in storing it. It's a memory saving suggestion.

In the 2 lines that you highlight, you only ever assign a value to the variable but you never actually use it as part of an operation in the function within which it is declared. Therefore the Au3Check warning "Declared but not used in function" is to be expected and is absolutely correct.

So the question is actually turned back at you: as you never use the variable, why do you declare it in the first place?

I don't see any issue when typing: ,$newvar

and then using backspace to delete it again.

What is it exactly I need to do to see your issue?

Is the syntax highlighting should not look at this case as follows (see attached file)

Focus on color in  ConsoleWrite and EndFunc

Please compare with previously attached file.

set cursor before #cs and PUSH [ENTER] Key

start to write

#forceref $sadada , $as

look out for any leter ,  I mean push first char and observe, push second and observe ...... 

observe what happens with syntax for keywords and functions

I mean observe ConsoleWrite  and observe EndFunc

Are you sure you are using the latest version of SciTE4AutoIt3? There was a bug similar to that a while ago but Jos fixed it with a Beta SciLexer.DLL and it has certainly not reappeared with the latest full release.

If you want to check, both my SciTE.exe (877,568 bytes) and SciLexer.dll (721,920 bytes) are dated 19/10/2013.
