Maybe it will be helpful:

#include <Array.au3>

Local $aArray[5] = [0, 1, 2, 3, 4]
Local $aArray2[6] = [5, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4]

_ArrayDisplay($aArray, "BEFORE deletion")
_ArrayDelete($aArray, $aArray2)
_ArrayDisplay($aArray, "RANGE ARRAY deleted")

Edit: I see that @BrewManNH said below exactly what I meant.

Read the help file, the example you posted above is completely wrong. There's an example in the help file, which you obviously copied parts of and pasted it here, which shows you EXACTLY how it works. You are not paying attention to the examples given if you are attempting to delete the array from itself.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

In simple terms, every array element has an ID number (index), that it is stored at.

So if you want to delete an element, you delete the relevant ID number (index) for that element.

Maybe it will be helpful:

#include <Array.au3>

Local $aArray[5] = [0, 1, 2, 3, 4]
Local $aArray2[6] = [5, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4]

_ArrayDisplay($aArray, "BEFORE deletion")
_ArrayDelete($aArray, $aArray2)
_ArrayDisplay($aArray, "RANGE ARRAY deleted")

Edit: I see that @BrewManNH said below exactly what I meant.

question , and if  i  use  array[99998]  the  second array  i must  write  array2[99999] and  0,1,2,3......99999 ?????

If you want to delete entire array it would be easiest if you just do like this:

#include <Array.au3>

Local $aArray[5] = [0, 1, 2, 3, 4]
Local $aArray2[6] = [5, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4]

_ArrayDisplay($aArray, "BEFORE deletion")
ReDim $aArray[0]
_ArrayDisplay($aArray, "RANGE ARRAY deleted")

For range you can use just like HelpFile says:

$vRangeElement(s) to delete - either a single index, a range string or a 1D array with a count in the [0] element (see example for details)
#include <Array.au3>

Local $aArray[5] = [0, 1, 2, 3, 4]

_ArrayDisplay($aArray, "BEFORE deletion")
_ArrayDelete($aArray, '1-3')
_ArrayDisplay($aArray, "RANGE ARRAY deleted")

btw.

Next time try to focus on analyzing HelpFile examples, as there is exactly the same example

.........
.........
; Range string
$aArray = $aArray_Base
Local $sRange = "0;11-15;24"
_ArrayDisplay($aArray, "BEFORE deletion")
_ArrayDelete($aArray, $sRange)
ConsoleWrite(" " & @error & @CRLF)
_ArrayDisplay($aArray, "RANGE STRING deleted")
.........
.........
