Also, I think it's reading from the previous page, that's the reason it's showing vb_login_username. Why is it not reading this page where this textbox is residing. I have set sleep to 7000 so that the page completely loads. Still no luck.

If @error = 0 so there was success but @extended = 0 mean collection length = 0

In such case @error should be $_IEStatus_NoMatch.

A very strange behavior observed. Textbox populates the text using below code but this happens ONLY when Debugbar is enabled in IE. I tried running the script multiple times and this pattern is consistent.

    If StringInStr($oInput.outerHTML,'name="user') Then
        _IEFormElementSetValue($oInput, "America")

I am getting the desired result but why it's not working when Debugbar is disabled? Any idea?

I have not used DebugBar a few good years.
Recently out of curiosity I wanted to use it, but after installation, he crash my IE.
So I unistall them and not using him anymore.

Even to me, it crashes IE but somehow I am managing.

@DaleHohm any comments on this? This has become a nightmare for me.

Until you figure out how to solve the issue, and depending what is it that you want to do, consider using some other UDF that has no issues like this. My favorite would be WinHttp.au3.

How you see there is no issue with name like this: "user[username]"
