Issues with meta tags

2 posts in this topic

Hello all!

Working on some integration with SoundCloud. Pretty much straight forward here's the code I got trouble with:

#include <IE.au3>

Local $oIE = _IECreate("")

$tags = $oIE.document.GetElementsByTagName("meta")

#Region Husch
$2tags = $oIE.document.GetElementsByTagName("button")
For $2tag In $2tags
    If $2tag.className = "heroPlayButton sc-button sc-button-hero heroPlayButton-pause" Then
        _IEAction($2tag, "Click")

For $tag In $tags
    ConsoleWrite($ & @LF & @TAB & $tag.content & @LF)

I need to fins property="og:title". But it doesn't like that much. Seems way easier for it to recognise content but even there he seems to be missing some. Any ideas? Region is there to make SoundCloud husch, as you might figure yourself.

Interesting, here is example:

#include <MsgBoxConstants.au3>
#include <AutoItConstants.au3>
#include <IE.au3>

Func _Example()

    Local $oIE = _IECreate("")

    Local $oButton_coll = $oIE.document.GetElementsByTagName("button")
    For $oButton_enum In $oButton_coll
        If $oButton_enum.className = "heroPlayButton sc-button sc-button-hero heroPlayButton-pause" Then
            _IEAction($oButton_enum, "Click")

    Local $oMeta_coll = $oIE.document.GetElementsByTagName("meta")
    For $oMeta_enum In $oMeta_coll
        If $oMeta_enum.hasAttribute('property') And $oMeta_enum.getAttribute('property') = 'og:title' Then
            ConsoleWrite('> PROPERTY = ' & $oMeta_enum.getAttribute('property') & @LF)
            If $oMeta_enum.hasAttribute('content') Then
                ConsoleWrite('> CONTENT = ' & $oMeta_enum.getAttribute('content') & @LF)

EndFunc   ;==>_Example
