Website Login

9 posts in this topic

I'm new to this although I use VBA and VBS a lot so I get the basics - however I think I'm  being let  down  by my knowledge of web pages.

I am trying to automate the pulling of data from a website using the following code but am having problems with the login. From what I can see the hidden input fields Usuario and Clave which is username and pw are hidden. The hidden elements seem to be assigned random names each time the page is created. The form name is Ficha.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dan

This is the code I'm trying at the moment - I've gone through quite a few different methods. This one seemed  to solve the hidden field issue elsewhere.

#include <ie.au3>

$oIE = _IECreate("http://numeracion.grupodialoga.es/")
$colForms = _IEFormGetCollection ($oIE )

For $oForm In $colForms
    $oFormElements = _IEFormElementGetCollection ( $oForm )
    For $oFormElement In $oFormElements
        If $oFormElement.id = 'Usuario' Then _IEFormElementSetValue ( $oFormElement, "username" )
        If $oFormElement.id = 'Clave' Then
            _IEFormElementSetValue ( $oFormElement, "password" )
            _IEFormSubmit ( $oForm, 0 )
            ExitLoop 2
        EndIf
    Next

This was interesting as I have never yet working with nested frames .

Try this:

#include <IE.au3>

_Example()
Func _Example()
    Local $oIE = _IECreate("http://numeracion.grupodialoga.es/")
    Local $oFrame_tope = _IEFrameGetObjByName($oIE, 'tope')
    Local $oFrame_cuerpo = _IEFrameGetObjByName($oFrame_tope, 'cuerpo')

    Local $oInput_User = _IEGetObjByName($oFrame_cuerpo, 'Usuario')
    _IEFormElementSetValue($oInput_User, "username")

    Local $oInput_Password = _IEGetObjByName($oFrame_cuerpo, 'Clave')
    _IEFormElementSetValue($oInput_Password, "password")

    Local $oForm_cuerpo = _IEGetObjByName($oFrame_cuerpo, 'ficha')
    _IEFormSubmit($oForm_cuerpo)
EndFunc

mLipok you are a genius!

If I understand the code correctly, you have to call the frames from the outside in... not just target the inner frame?

So obvious.. you make it look so simple, I'm sure the theory will work in other situations as well... a great example/

Thank you very much it worked perfectly... I'm sure I'll have more questions, but I'm not one to get people to do it for me :-)

Onwards.

Thanks mLipok

Not exactly.
Just a lot of time and work, it gives experience and knowledge.

By the way, I still make some blunders.

Hi

Yes I've made the same journey with VBA excel access and am starting with this and VBS... I hope the penny will drop soon.. This web site seems to be a proper pain - I don't want to pop in here and get solutions just direction :-)  I've not really moved on past the login.

I've been trying various methods to hit buttons and check boxes to not much avail.  What I have here so far kind of works but I'm not sure why.

This fails when I run it the first time but if I leave the window open, works if I run it again.

With this type of frame based web page - is there a rule to follow to click buttons and to select check boxes?

I've tried a few examples - actually loads ... this is the best I've got - it does kind of work but not quite the way I'd like.

after you iecreate, try an ieattach with embed option.  i usually have better luck when i do it that way.

Thinking about how you said it fails the first time, but works if you run it after the page is already loaded, sounds like the script is looking for your objects before the page has loaded them.  find a way to make your script wait until everything has loaded in the background before looking for objects.
