IE Webpage Dialog handling

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I've been sucessfully in handling Webpage Dialog - Popup windows in below example picture by using CommandLine:

The script worked fine, but for me, this is not the best way to solve problem because you have to pass parameters to another EXE script, this means there will be 2 processes running -  which is failing to meet my expectation.

Is there any other better way to handle this "Modal Windows" if I can ask.

Many thanks in Advance for any help you can provide,

Check in a AdLib registered func for ModalMsgBox.

Hi AutoBert,

I have tried AdLibRegister, but did not get it to work, or my code has something wrong?

#include <IE.au3>

;Opt("WinSearchChildren", 1)

;Local $oIE = _IECreate(@ScriptDir & "\web.html")
WinActive("Checking Dialog")

$oPage = _IEAttach("Checking Dialog")
$oForm = _IEGetObjById($oPage, "TestForm")
$btnTitle = _IEFormElementGetObjByName($oForm, 'btnOpenDialog')
AdlibRegister("ModalWin", 100)
_IEAction($btnTitle, 'Click')

Func ModalWin()

   ;MsgBox(0, "", "test")
   $win = "Title"
   $winDialog = "Title -- Webpage Dialog"

   While 1

      Local $aList = winList()

       ; Loop through the array displaying only visable windows with a title.
       For $i = 1 To $aList[0][0]
         If $aList[$i][0] == $winDialog Then

   While winExists($aList[$i][1])

      $oIE1 = _IEAttach($win, "Dialogbox")

      $oForm1 = _IEGetObjByName($oIE1, "LAYOUTFORM")

      $OKBtn = _IEFormElementGetObjByName($oForm1, "btnOK")

      $oList = _IEFormElementGetObjByName($oForm1, "selectHelp")

      $oText = _IEFormElementGetObjByName($oForm1, "txtFind")

      _IEAction($oText, 'focus')

      _IEFormElementSetValue($oText, "Ms")

      _IEAction($OKBtn , 'click')

You should open second separate script before this Dialog PopUp

or you can post this html example to give possibility to check how it works and what the issue is.

Thanks mLipok,

As what I said above,  I've been sucessfully in handling Webpage Dialog by using CommandLine (absolutely there are 2 scripts running seperate), but I dont prefer this much.

Please find the attached files for html example, and kindly help check.

I think you can use _IEattach on the search window and manipulate it using the IE functions.
