getElementsByTagName skip value

5 posts in this topic

$objEl = $oXML.getElementsByTagName("Value")
If IsObj($objEl) And $objEl.length >= 1 Then
For $oXmlNode In $objEl - 1
;etc
Next

From that code i have four valid value but i want to skip the first and i'd like to avoid to make another For...Next just for that. Thanks

something similar:

$bFirstskipped=False
For $i=1 to 4
    if $bFirstskipped Then
        MsgBox(0,'Skiptest','Value: '& $i)
    Else
        $bFirstskipped=True
    EndIf
Next

and your are not able to adapt this for your needs?

If $bFirstskipped Then
            ;your code
        Else
            $bFirstskipped = True
        EndIf

both are For loops.

The way you are using:   For In Loop
is wrong.

You can not use this kind of statement $objEl - 1
Yow you think what a result should be for :            Object -1       ?
