Checking for changes in website?

Recommended Posts

Hello again, I have a new question! Been reading through but can't seem to find the right function to use.

How do I check for any changes in the website? For example, there's this site that changes (on average) once in 2 days, and I don't know when exactly. But as soon as the visual content changes, I get a notification/email about the new change. I tried using InetGetSize but failed in my mission.

Hello, please forgive me for taking away your valuable time.

; Start Chrome with the URL "http://www.december.com/html/demo/form.html"
_ChromeStartup("http://www.december.com/html/demo/form.html")

; Wait for the page with the document title of "HTML Form Example"
_ChromeDocWaitForExistenceByTitle("HTML Form Example", 10)

; Set the value of the field labelled "Your age:" to "8"
_ChromeObjSetValueByName("user-age", "8")

; Select the radio button labelled "Female"
_ChromeInputSetCheckedByName("user-gender", true, 1)

I set up Chrome UDF as instructed in the examples forum and downloaded a sample code as well to test things out. In the sample code includes above lines. When I execute the sample code, I am directed to the URL above, however, nothing happens afterwards. For example, "Your age" field is not set to "8" as per code.

I'd appreciate it so much if anyone could give me some insights.

Thank you!

David

Yes, that's the one. I think I'm ok now. Made an app for personal use. Thanks!

Ok, so Chrome UDF works fine, though I have to use "sleep" rather than _ChromeDocWaitForExistenceByTitle in first post. I just made a simple auto login for various websites.

I have a new question!

Your guidance/help would be appreciated! Thank you!
