Windows 2012 IE script

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have problem with script execution on win2012.. It works fine on windows 10.

Problem is with calling IE login form.  The Fields (username, password) won't update, and submit button isn't submited..

This is my function:

func _IE()
   local $sUrl = 'https://fakewebsite/'
   local $User = 'username'
   local $Pwd = 'password'

   local $oIE = _IECreate($sURL,0, 1, 0)

   $tForm = _IEFormGetObjByName($oIE, 'frmLogin')
   $tUser = _IEFormElementGetObjByName($tForm, 'username')
   $tPass = _IEFormElementGetObjByName($tForm, 'password')

   _IEFormElementSetValue($tUser, $User)
   _IEFormElementSetValue($tPass, $Pwd)
   _IELoadWait($oIE)
   _IEFormSubmit($tForm, 0)
   _IELoadWait($oIE)

    $oLinks = _IETagNameGetCollection($oIE, "input")
    For $oLink In $oLinks
If String($oLink.type) = "submit" And String($oLink.value) = "Continue the session" Then
             _IEAction($oLink, "click")
             ExitLoop
       EndIf
    Next

    _IELoadWait($oIE)

EndFunc

And this is SCITE output:

>"C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\SciTE\..\autoit3.exe" /ErrorStdOut "C:\Users\mgrmek\Desktop\autoIT_Test_ie.au3"
"C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\Include\IE.au3" (930) : ==> The requested action with this object has failed.:
Local $oCol = $oObject.document.forms.item($sName)
Local $oCol = $oObject^ ERROR
>Exit code: 1    Time: 3.092

You've passed zero for the last parameter instead of the default of 1, so the script is continuing immediately instead of waiting for the website to load.

Either change this back or add an _IELoadWait before continuing with the login attempt.

I did try to do that, and all sorts of combinations, but nothing worked... It works on windows 10 but not windows server 2012...
