JDHabit
So I'm randomly getting the Com Error 0x80020008. Before I was missing an error handler which made the program die right away. A friendly user pointed that out to me and then it ran for 2 maybe 6 times before dieing on me again but now with a log telling me the error. But here is the Problem. I have no clue why I randomly get the error. Below my new and improved code that uses only one instance of IE instead of I++ instances and still randomly get the error at some pages and not at other. I also had a few runs where no error appeared. If someone knows something please help. The search up until now has been only frustrating. expandcollapse popupotKeySet("{F1}", "myExit") Func myExit() Exit EndFunc Local $arr[20] Local $oMyError = ObjEvent("AutoIt.Error", "ErrFunc") $arr[0] = "https://www.readmng.com/i-shaved-then-i-brought-a-high-school-girl-home-/20" $arr[1] = "https://www.readmng.com/second-life-ranker/68" $arr[2] = "https://www.readmng.com/rules-for-peddling-in-another-world/20" $arr[3] = "https://www.readmng.com/im-an-evil-god/58" $arr[4] = "https://www.readmng.com/the-great-mage-returns-after-4000-years/36" $arr[5] = "https://www.readmng.com/player-reborn/168" $arr[6] = "https://www.readmng.com/oversimplified-scp/133" $arr[7] = "https://www.readmng.com/dungeon-reset/38" $arr[8] = "https://www.readmng.com/fff-class-trashero/52" $arr[9] = "https://www.readmng.com/i-was-trash/173" $arr[10] = "https://www.readmng.com/battle-frenzy/192" $arr[11] = "https://www.readmng.com/strongest-anti-m-e-t-a--1/150" $arr[12] = "https://www.readmng.com/cultivation-chat-group/237" $arr[13] = "https://www.readmng.com/immortal-swordsman-in-the-reverse-world/104" $arr[14] = "https://www.readmng.com/wu-dao-du-zun/167" $arr[15] = "https://www.readmng.com/the-bloody-merchant-empress-and-the-cold-husbands-forceful-doting/98" $arr[16] = "https://www.readmng.com/askr-yggdrasils-wood/36" $arr[17] = "https://www.readmng.com/im-the-great-immortal/170" $arr[18] = "https://www.readmng.com/the-strongest-god-king/108" $arr[19] = "https://www.readmng.com/virus-girlfriend/105" lookForUpdate($arr) Func lookForUpdate($link) $ie = ObjCreate ("InternetExplorer.Application") Const $navOpenInNewTab = 0x0800 With $ie .visible = True for $s In $link .navigate($s) While($ie.busy) WEnd Sleep(2000) $button = .document.getElementsByTagName("div") If @error Then ConsoleWrite("What the hell? Danp2
Have you considered using the built-in functions from the IE UDF? That may resolve your issues as the code has been used millions of times, contains error checking, etc. P.S. By starting a new thread, you've made it more difficult for us to help you. Without checking, we have no way of knowing what issues you've encountered previously and we can only guess where the error occurs because you didn't include the console output. mLipok
do not use nested methods: $button = .document.getElementsByTagName("div") do this like this: $document = .document $button = $document.getElementsByTagName("div") this issue was already reported.https://www.autoitscript.com/trac/autoit/ticket/3167 Recently fixed by @jpm We must wait for @Jon aproval and releasing new version. He will do this when he will have time for it (please do not ask when).
