Compilation error

Hi, when I compile my script I got the following error message:

-### StripOnly/StripFunc Error: Found ObjEvent() statement using unsolvable Func, which will/could lead to removal of Funcs that are used by this Function.

Any idea how to solve it?

Hi Jos,  yes I always google before posting.

First I included the compiler clause to ignore the stripping of the affected lines but it didn't work. According to 

#Au3Stripper_Ignore_Funcs=_IEErrorHandlerRegister, __IEInternalErrorHandlerDeRegister,  __IEInternalErrorHandlerRegister

Then according to this post I changed the functions called by string:

ObjEvent("AutoIt.Error", $sFunctionName) changed by 

ObjEvent("AutoIt.Error", __IEInternalErrorHandler)

After reading your answer and due to the fact that any of the before mentioned reco didn't work out I analyzed  ie.au3 and found _IEErrorHandlerRegister()  (the function that triggers the error) is unneeded so I deleted it as well as _IEErrorHandlerDeRegister(). 

After this deletions the compilation terminated without errors.

Is the third option the right one?  or I did something wrong in my other two attempts?

Hi mLipok, yes I solved it already. 

The solution was to delete the two deprecated  functions of IE.au3 that triggers the compilation error _IEErrorHandlerRegister()  and  _IEErrorHandlerDeRegister().

Danp2, I got Autoit 3.3.14.5 version.

It was't needed.

Just add:

#Au3Stripper_Ignore_Variables=$__g_oIEErrorHandler

on top of your script.

I did that and I got another error so I also changed line 2573:

$__g_oIEErrorHandler = ObjEvent("AutoIt.Error", $__g_sIEUserErrorHandler)

by

$__g_oIEErrorHandler = ObjEvent("AutoIt.Error", __IEInternalErrorHandler)

After this change the compilation ended without errors.

I got error:

but the compilation end with error still

check your output pane and search for Au3Stripper version... I use:

>Running Au3Stripper (19.1127.1402.6)

The same problem .... 

in IE.au3 change line # from:

$__g_oIEErrorHandler = ObjEvent("AutoIt.Error", "__IEInternalErrorHandler")

to:

$__g_oIEErrorHandler = ObjEvent("AutoIt.Error", __IEInternalErrorHandler)

 

Check this above example and fix, then check your code again, and back with feedback

I had got the same error until I changed

by

$__g_oIEErrorHandler = ObjEvent("AutoIt.Error", __IEInternalErrorHandler

then the compilation ended without errors.

Ah, is one line per variable to exclude instead of a comma, OK. Done.

But even though the compiler keeps triggering the error, that's why I just changed the variable $__g_sIEUserErrorHandler by the function __IEInternalErrorHandler. And after that compilation ended without errors!
