I have a Laptop and a PC...both with the same OS ( Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 )

I get the "subscript used with non-array variable" ONLY on my Laptop (Asus F5RL)...any explanation or idea you guys might have for this?

I have also "disabled" my Anti-Virus program called AVIRA and my UAC is set to OFF...

Without you showing the source of the offending progam, it will probably difficult to help you much!

Now 198 posts and you ask what this means is, well, 198 times surprising.

This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available). An absolute must have in your bookmarks.

PCRE v8.33 regexp documentation latest available release and currently implemented in AutoIt beta.

SQLitespeed is another feature-rich premier SQLite manager (includes import/export). Well worth a try.
SQLite Expert (freeware Personal Edition or payware Pro version) is a very useful SQLite database manager.
An excellent eBook covering almost every aspect of SQLite3: a must-read for anyone doing serious work.

Depends entirely on what you've coded? My guess, which as you can appreciate is only a guess, you're using something WMI related that isn't supported on the operating system that the laptop is using.

Please next time post something that we can actually see, a picture tells a 1000 words but code tells the whole story.

The OS'es of BOTH machines are identical...I'll check into my drivers 'n stuff....thx guiness

PS: I'll check through the WMI as you suggested as well...

The OS'es might be the same but the content of the array is definitely not. So do an _ArrayDisplay of the array plus a ConsoleWrite of the index you use in the line marked as the line in error to check what is going on. Insert this code before the line in error.

The "corrected" script now reads ---> 

$cdrom = DriveGetDrive("CDROM")
$upper = StringUpper($cdrom[1])

Weird that it doesnt pick this fault up at ALL pc's...and just some? Anyone got an idea why? lol

...the more errors i get with AutoIt ( due to MY mistakes ), the more i LOVE this f'n program...geniune :D
