Make array subscript fail display error but avoid .exe crash?

Everytime with error: array subscript exceeded dimension range etc... causes exe to crash, is it possible to make the error display in the same manner but just avoid crashing?

Does anyone know how?

First thing I would do is more error checking in the script to avoid the subscript error!

believe me thats what i would do as well :) but i really need to avoid crash at the first place.

Also i am talking about really complicated long code here so i cant post anything and you can guess thats the reason why its hard to debug as well.

No, is the simple answer. The long answer, try to add error checking whenever possible, especially when using arrays. Some functions to look at are UBound, ReDim and some users like to use IsArray. Plus, have a look in the AutoIt wiki about Array usage.

What should the script do after the error message has been displayed? Keep on processing? Doesn't make sense because the array problem might lead to invalid results!

Are you sure there is no way to make the error avoid crash? I could swear i was running exe with this but maybe it was changed in recent autoit version?

Local $aToDo[2] = ['Yes', 'No'], $sToDo = 'No'

I am not saying its solution but for my case it would help for a start before getting rid of real problem.

Your question has been answered numerous times, so I don't see any real need to continue on whether there is a workaround in AutoIt to create invalid results. Go back through your code, debug it and fix it. If you need any help related to arrays then please feel free to post again.
