BrewManNH
What are you testing for Unicode? The reason it was removed was because AutoIt is natively using unicode. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. JohnOne
I thought AutoIt treated all strings as unicode unless specified for example in Dll* functions. Can you put in into context? Valuater
This code is from "Youtube Downloader". There are 2 in the download section here and both are out of date. There are other complications... errors and more... so I am going to forget these scripts. ... So, all I really want to do is download a youtube file 8) Edited September 10, 2013 by Valuater
JohnOne
Ah! I never new that macro existed. I think you'd simple Replace 'If @unicode Then ' with 'If 1 Then' Seeing as how it is natively unicode you want that condition to be true. Administrators Jon Posted September 10, 2013 Administrators Share Posted September 10, 2013 @unicode still looks to be in the language. It was supposed to be removed in 3.2.14.x but it looks like it never happened. MHz
It is in AutoIt 3.3.8.1 and returns 1. If you use Au3Check then it states undefined macro. Au3Check <> AutoIt
JohnOne
Sorry. Yes returns 1 #AutoIt3Wrapper_Run_AU3Check=n MsgBox(0,0,@unicode) So if you replace all @unicode with 1, script should work?
