I think I have run into a coding error in the production version 3.3.10.2 of AutoIt.

In C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\Include\Memory.au3

when I run Syntax Check Prod on the file I get:

AutoItError3.jpg

Could someone please verify this is a valid error?  And it would be great to get a fix for it.

Thanks for all the time and effort everyone puts in to Mack such a great product.

Thanks,

Can you post the rest of your script? I'm sure the error is somewhere in lines 1-64

Docfxit,

I have just run and checked the file you posted with both 3.3.10.2 and 3.3.11.3 and there were no problems - which seeing it is a standard include file does not surprise me at all. ;)

Please run the check again and post what you get in the SciTE console. :)

Docfxit,

There is no need to include the UDF on the Forum. This just leads to redundant code in the future.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess you put #include <Memory.au3> inside a Do loop instead of at the top of the script.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.

Thank you for testing it.

I have tested the Memory.au3 script again and see that it didn't show any errors this time.

I was asked to post it in post#2 by Water.  I mentioned in my first post this is a script that comes with AutoIt.  I am sorry if this leads to redundant code.  I will try to remove it?

I am getting an error when I run my code:  The error is:

"C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\Include\Memory.au3" (65) : ==> "Func" statement has no matching "EndFunc".:

Func _MemFree(ByRef $tMemMap)

I have found/fixed the error.  It was in an error routine that I borrowed from someone else.

Thank you all for trying to fix this issue.

water meant post the script you're using to call the function.
