MacGoose Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Hi! I need to be able to change some settings on a windows service and start/stop it. Is this possible and how? I saw one example that I think needed some extra installations/programs which is out of the question. Thanx!

Solution MacGoose Posted February 20, 2014 Author Solution Posted February 20, 2014 I'm now doing this: RunWait(@ComSpec & " /c " & "sc config Fax start= auto", "", @SW_HIDE) The Fax service is an example and this works great. However, using net start and stop doesn't work. But I really don't care about that because the computer should be restarted after this is executed anyway.
