Valnurat Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 I really don't understand how to enter text to a field in a IE. Local $oIE = _IECreate("http://company.org:81/mwp/login.jsp", 1) _IELoadWait($oIE) Local $oForm = _IEFormGetObjByName($oIE, "frmLogin") Local $oInputFile = _IEFormElementGetObjByName($oForm,"j_password") _IEAction($oInputFile, "focus") _IEAction($oInputFile, "selectall") Send("This works") Maybe I do something wrong? Yours sincerely Kenneth.

Valnurat Posted March 2, 2016 Author Posted March 2, 2016 (edited) It seems both solutions works. If I run the code 1 time, IE starts, but no text is entered. But if I run it again without closing IE, the code catch IE and enter the text. What do I need to do for doing that? Edited March 2, 2016 by Valnurat Yours sincerely Kenneth.
aa2zz6 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 mLipok posted this piece of code a while back in another IE topic and I think it would work here. Revise it to your needs. I would suggest adding some type of WinActive to check whether the page is already active and then run the Signin($oIE) and if the page doesn't exists then run a IECreate. Hope it helps. #include <IE.au3> _Example() Func _Example() Local $oIE = _IECreate("https://customers.rolandce.com/login.php") Signin($oIE) EndFunc Func Signin(ByRef $oIE) Local $user_name = _IEGetObjById($oIE, "user_name") _IEFormElementSetValue($user_name, "myname@me.nl",0) Local $password = _IEGetObjById($oIE, "password") _IEFormElementSetValue($password, "1234567",0) _IENavigate($oIE, "https://customers.rolandce.com/login-2.php") EndFunc ;==>Signin
Valnurat Posted March 3, 2016 Author Posted March 3, 2016 (edited) I tried this: _Main() Func _Main() Local $oIE = _IECreate("http://Company.org:81/mwp/login.jsp",1) _IELoadWait($oIE) if WinActive('Log On - Microsoft Internet Explorer - Company','Log On -') Then MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL, "", "Exists") Signin($oIE) Else MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL, "", "Do not exists") EndIf EndFunc Func Signin(ByRef $oIE) Sleep(5000) Local $user_name = _IEGetObjById($oIE, "j_username") _IEFormElementSetValue($user_name, "donkey",0) Local $password = _IEGetObjById($oIE, "j_password") _IEFormElementSetValue($password, "Gofish",0) EndFunc ;==>Signin I get a message that the windows exists, but it will not fil in the text and if I run it again without closing IE, it will fill out the text. aa2zz6 Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 (edited) You need to declare the $oIE as a Global variable since you are referencing it outside of the function. Code: Global $oIE = _IECreate("http://Company.org:81/mwp/login.jsp",1) A little revision: I tested this with the link below and it works fine. #include <IE.au3> #include <MsgBoxConstants.au3> Opt("WinTitleMatchMode", 2) _Main() Func _Main() Global $oIE = _IECreate("https://customers.rolandce.com/login.php", 1) _IELoadWait($oIE) If WinActive("Internet Explorer") = True Then MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL, "", "Exists", 1) Signin($oIE) Else MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL, "", "Do not exists", 1) Global $oIE1 = _IECreate("https://customers.rolandce.com/login.php", 1) _IELoadWait($oIE1) Signin($oIE1) EndIf EndFunc ;==>_Main Func Signin(ByRef $oIE) Local $user_name = _IEGetObjById($oIE, "user_name") _IEFormElementSetValue($user_name, "myname@me.nl", 0) Local $password = _IEGetObjById($oIE, "password") _IEFormElementSetValue($password, "1234567", 0) EndFunc ;==>Signin Edited March 3, 2016 by aa2zz6

Valnurat Posted March 4, 2016 Author Posted March 4, 2016 Sorry, the same result. Yours sincerely Kenneth.
AutoBert Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Without the URL or the source of the site it's like reading tea leaves.
aa2zz6 Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 I would suggest going on Google chrome and inspecting the username and password input boxes. Post the input ID of each, along with the url.
