Reading HTML (Can't see the problem)

First time really interacting with controls in IE. Trying to just pull data from a simple input box.

AutoIt:

#include <IE.au3>

Local $oIE = _IECreate(@ScriptDir & "/Test Page.html")

Sleep(5000)

$oForm = _IEGetObjByID($oIE, "myform")
$Data = _IEFormElementGetObjByName($oForm, "inputbox")
$Read = _IEFormElementGetValue($Data)

HTML:

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>Test Input</TITLE>
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
function testResults (form) {
    var TestVar = form.inputbox.value;
    alert ("You typed: " + TestVar);
}
</SCRIPT>
</HEAD>
<BODY>
<FORM NAME="myform" ACTION="" METHOD="GET">Enter something in the box: <BR>
<INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="inputbox" VALUE=""><P>
<INPUT TYPE="button" NAME="button" Value="Click" onClick="testResults(this.form)">
</FORM>
</BODY>
</HTML>

Console:

--> IE.au3 T3.0-2 Error from function _IELoadWait, $_IESTATUS_ClientDisconnected (-2147023179, Browser has been deleted prior to operation.)
--> IE.au3 T3.0-2 Error from function _IEGetObById, $_IESTATUS_InvalidObjectType
--> IE.au3 T3.0-2 Error from function _IEFormElementGetObjByName, $_IESTATUS_InvalidDataType
--> IE.au3 T3.0-2 Error from function _IEFormElementGetValue, $_IESTATUS_InvalidDataType
+>14:22:06 AutoIt3.exe ended.rc:0

IE Window remains open the entire time and after as well.

You must use _IECreate with a correct url with the proper syntax
Please try this

#include <IE.au3>

Local $oIE = _IECreate("file:///" & @ScriptDir & "/Test Page.html")

Sleep(5000) ; during this time write something in the input

$oForm = _IEGetObjByID($oIE, "myform")
$Data = _IEFormElementGetObjByName($oForm, "inputbox")
$Read = _IEFormElementGetValue($Data)
Msgbox(0,"", $Read)

But using

$oForm = _IEGetObjByName($oIE, "myform")

I get:

Quote

If IsObj($oObject.document.GetElementsByName($sName).item($iIndex)) Then
If IsObj($oObject^ ERROR

Interesting....

Try this:

Local $oIE = _IECreate()
_IENavigate($oIE ,@ScriptDir & "/Test Page.html")
