Script paused when upload windows is called from IE automation

Dear friends, hope you can help me with the following issue that I am facing. 

I am  doing an automation of  web portal using autoit. Firstly I am calling the site using the next sentence:  global $urlX =  _IECreate("https://externalportal.com")

then I am doing the autologin using the username & password provided by the site administrator.

After clicking some links, one of them, opens a upload window to select a XML file to upload. On such window I want to select the file, but here I am having a trouble.

 

the code I have is the following:

local $LinkUpload = _IEGetOBjByName($urlX,"name2")

_IEAction($LinkUpload,"click")    ; Here the new window to upload the file is triggered

 

I put a messagebox after the _IEAction instruction & I noted that is showed the messagebox after I close the "upload window". Thats mean I am unable to automate the filling of the file name in the upload window & in general I am not reaching to have the control to that particular window. I am wondering if it is possible to do it.

 

Anybody has experience on something similar?.

Yes, this is known issue. You can workaround it by using this:
