Hi argumentum,

mLipok and I are looking into making this UDF compatible with the portable version of LibreOffice also, and I was wondering if you have any insight on what it would take/ how to go about accomplishing this? A bit of research would seem to indicate the need to use Registration Free COM Objects? But I’m not exactly sure on the "how" yet?

Any insight or tips would certainly be appreciated if you have any.

Did you notice that :  _LOWriter_DocSaveAs() and _LOWriter_DocOpen()   can not open/save file to location different than @TempDir ?

I just tested Both on my desktop, and both worked.... Do you have an example I could look at?

Perhaps it's a permission issue?

Hi everybody

since two weeks ago i have been working with this UDF in several proyects and I think its great! In the past i worked with this UDF:

which is fantastic too.

I think i have found a bug in the function _LOCalc_DocViewWindowSettings from the library LibreOfficeCalc_Doc.au3. In the line 2161 there is a call to the function __LOCalc_ArrayFill and the fourth and fifth parameters are switched.

where it says

__LOCalc_ArrayFill($abView, $oCurCont.HasColumnRowHeaders(), $oCurCont.HasVerticalScrollBar(), $oCurCont.HasSheetTabs(), $oCurCont.HasHorizontalScrollBar(), _

it must be

After modified it works fine.

Thank you for the report, and for tracking down the bug @JALucena, it's greatly appreciated. I'll change that right away. I must have messed it up in modifying the order of the parameters previously.

I did a LibreOffice converter to PDF with such function:

You can notice that I used silent mode:

and I hit a problem.

When I used it on the workstation where is instaled older LibreOffice version, then some LibreOffice updater shows up.
How to prevent auto updating LibreOffice ?

Apparently only recently they made Auto-Update not activate using --headless mode, which should also help when using API?

Considering it has been several years since the last release was made for this UDF, I have decided that it would be a good idea to make one now to offer a more updated stable version for users to use with the many new additions since the last release. If any users have been using the latest files from the Repository, not much will be new now. But in comparison from the latest release from three years ago, very, very many things have changed since then, including many bug fixes and further Writer functions.

Since the last release (0.9.1):

• Writer has received multitudes of bug and documentation fixes.
• Writer has had Form and Shape functions added to its functionality, amongst others.
• Calc has been added.
• Base has been added.
• Tools for inspecting LibreOffice API objects etc has been included in the Tools folder of the UDF.
• Support has been added for working with LibreOffice Portable. This involves potentially automatically adding and deleting temporary Registry entries to the User Registry in order for this to work.

Since the more recent files on the Repository, a few bug fixes have been made, as well as some more Documentation fixes.

But perhaps the bigger addition is that a CHM help file has been added to the UDF, with help files for Base, Calc, and Writer. These will only be the same information found in each function’s header, but I hope it will help in searching for functions and aid in finding how to accomplish what the user is looking to do.

The new CHM was made possible thanks to: original tool creator, MrCreatoR; later modified and published by water as Simple Library Docs Generator. I further modified this tool to work specifically with this UDF, and added some options that I wished were present. Some tools for syntax coloring examples were taken and integrated from functions created by Jos, and the AutoIt Team. Thanks and great appreciation is passed on to all authors mentions above.

• The CHM creator tool is included in the Tools folder of the UDF.

For further detailed changes, please see the Changelog.

As a warning to all users, whether you are using more recent Repository files, or most certainly the older releases, there will be script breaking changes. Please use caution when updating files. From here on, I am hoping to introduce less breaking changes, and to maintain a standard format and layout for functions. My apologies to all users affected.
