welcome to the forum

>>> HELPFILE >>> _EXCEL.....

EDIT:

Please do not be angry with me for so brief and perfunctory answer, but I just never used the UDF.
However, I hope that it moved the you in the right direction.

Of course, you obtain detailed information from the @ water, but I hope that in the meantime you managed to have a little bit familiar with the documentation.

best regards

Please have a look at my rewrite of the Excel UDF.

It allows to open two workbooks at once. _Excel_SheetCopyMove should then do what you want.

Be aware that you need to run one of the Beta versions of AutoIt (3.3.9.x).

hi guys and thank you for the quick response.

however i did not find the help file>> excel.

Water:

i have looked at the function :  _Excel_SheetCopyMove and it looks like it can give me exactly what i need,

i installed the latest autoit version package that include beta 3.3.9.5 version in the same folder (Program Files (x86)AutoIt3) as the old autoit but it doesnt help

can you please give me a bit deeper explanation?

The "new" Excel UDF isn't included in the beta version of AutoIt.

You need to download it from the first page of this thread and - easiest way -store it in the same directory where your script resides.

Have a look at the example scripts that come with each function.
