scenario:  i have  3 file in .au3

main_program.au3  ( gui and some logik)

variable.au3  ( all  variable )

configure.au3 (custom function)

the  logic is

main_program.au3

                |_______________> #include "variable.au3"

                | _______________> #include "configure.au3"

inside of variable  i declare a Global variable example  Global $sID

now:  the variable  $sID   exist  in  all   file  .au3 ??? (i  think yes,)  therfore  if  i  read/write  the  $sID   in configure , and  display result  in main_program.au3  , must work ??

faustf,

You are correct, but make sure you include the file containing the declaration before you try to reference it elsewhere.

In this particular case YES.
But If you want in future use configure.au3 you will always need include also variable.au3 just before configure.au3.
For this you can add inside configure.au3

#include-once
#include "variable.au3"

and this will look like this:

Quote

main_program.au3

                |______> #include "variable.au3"

                |______> #include "configure.au3"

                                                 |______> #include "variable.au3"

I think @Melba23 was said the same but in diferent way.
I hope my answer will be also handy.

other  questions  about  vairable  suppose  the same cases   ,  but  the  declaretion of  $sID  in  variable.au3 , is  inside of  the  functions

like

func  _test()

select

     case ...

     ..

   .

endselect

 Global   $sID

endfunc

in this mode  is  the same  global ????

You can do that, but it's not recommended.  You'd want to make sure any other function which refers to that Global variable is called after this function which declares the Global is executed.  You'd be better off declaring the global and setting/updating the value from within a function.

This demos the importance of execution order.  Try it once to see it fail, then swap _Func1 & _Func2 function execution.

_Func1()  ;Will fail if called first because $_sTest hasn;t been declared
_Func2()  ;Will succeed if run first because $_sTest was been declared in func _A()

Func _Func1()
    _B()
EndFunc

Func _Func2()
    _A()
EndFunc

Func _A()
    Global $_sTest = "Test String"
EndFunc

Func _B()
    msgbox(0,"",$_sTest)
EndFunc
