Danp2 Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 My crystal ball is currently in the shop for repair, so you'll need to supply more details so that I can assist you better. 😉 I notice that you are running the x64 version of AutoIt. Does the error still occur if you switch to x32? In case you aren't aware, you can easily accomplish this by adding one line at the top of your script -- #AutoIt3Wrapper_UseX64=N It appears that you are running W10. Can you share more details, such as the specific version number, home / pro / etc? Switch the debug level to Full, rerun the script and post the new logs. P.S. Your logs will be easier to read if you use the same method suggested for posting code. Latest Webdriver UDF Release Webdriver Wiki FAQs

bduke77 Posted May 15, 2023 Author Posted May 15, 2023 Yes it does crash using all browser types, and when I'm running this I use the Test Run in SciTE and this is the output I get: >"C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\SciTE\..\AutoIt3.exe" "C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\SciTE\AutoIt3Wrapper\AutoIt3Wrapper.au3" /test /run /prod /ErrorStdOut /in "H:\AutoIt\AutoIt - DCSS\wd_demo.au3" /UserParams +>14:21:00 Starting AutoIt3Wrapper (21.316.1639.1) from:SciTE.exe (4.4.6.0) Keyboard:00000409 OS:WIN_10/2009 CPU:X64 OS:X64 Environment(Language:0409) CodePage:0 utf8.auto.check:4 +> SciTEDir => C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\SciTE UserDir => C:\Users\bduke\AppData\Local\AutoIt v3\SciTE\AutoIt3Wrapper SCITE_USERHOME => C:\Users\bduke\AppData\Local\AutoIt v3\SciTE - *** Compile in Test mode skipping Tidy; Au3Stripper; Resource updating and Versioning to speed up the process. *** >Running AU3Check (3.3.16.1) from:C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3 input:H:\AutoIt\AutoIt - DCSS\wd_demo.au3 +>14:21:02 AU3Check ended.rc:0 >Running:(3.3.16.1):C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\autoit3.exe "H:\AutoIt\AutoIt - DCSS\wd_demo.au3" +>Setting Hotkeys...--> Press Ctrl+Alt+Break to Restart or Ctrl+BREAK to Stop. _WD_Option ==> Success [0] : Parameters: Option=errormsgbox Value=False _WD_Option ==> Success [0] : Parameters: Option=OutputDebug Value=False _WD_GetBrowserPath ==> Success [0 / 4] : Parameters: Browser=MSEdgeIE _WD_GetBrowserVersion ==> Success [0 / 4] : Parameters: Browser=MSEdgeIE _WD_GetWebDriverVersion ==> Success [0 / 0] : Parameters: Dir=H:\AutoIt\AutoIt - DCSS\ EXE=IEDriverServer.exe __WD_GetLatestWebdriverInfo ==> Success [0 / 0] _WD_UpdateDriver ==> Success [0 / 0] : DriverCurrent = 4.8.1.0 : DriverLatest = 4.8.1 > UpdateResult = False _WD_Option ==> Success [0] : Parameters: Option=Driver Value=IEDriverServer.exe _WD_GetFreePort ==> Success [0 / 5555] : Parameters: MinPort=5555 MaxPort=5600 _WD_Option ==> Success [0] : Parameters: Option=Port Value=5555 _WD_Option ==> Success [0] : Parameters: Option=DriverParams Value=-log-file="H:\AutoIt\AutoIt - DCSS\log\2023-05-15_142125_WebDriver_EdgeIEMode.log" -log-level=INFO -port=5555 -host=127.0.0.1 !>14:21:25 AutoIt3.exe ended.rc:-1073741819 +>14:21:26 AutoIt3Wrapper Finished. >Exit code: 3221225477 Time: 26.24 Is there another way to run it?
Danp2 Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 As you know, a GUI where you make selections when you run the script. The 2nd dropbox allows you to change the Debug level. The default is "Info", and I'm wanting you to change this to "Full" before clicking the Run Demo button. This should help isolate which line is causing the issue. Based on the prior logs that you've posted, it appears to either be the call to _WD_CapabilitiesStartup or the initial call to _WD_CapabilitiesAdd. The other thing you could check is the version of Json.au3 that is being used. Please check the file header for this information. Latest Webdriver UDF Release Webdriver Wiki FAQs
Nine Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 If I can suggest something. I do not want to reduce the immense effort you did @Danp2 on WebDriver. I am a great fan of what you did. But (there is always a but, my wife keeps saying) WD_Demo is the worst thing you did. It is way too complicated to a noob to follow. Just saying with all the respect I have for what you have done. “They did not know it was impossible, so they did it” ― Mark Twain Spoiler Block all input without UAC Save/Retrieve Images to/from Text Monitor Management (VCP commands) Tool to search in text (au3) files Date Range Picker Virtual Desktop Manager Sudoku Game 2020 Overlapped Named Pipe IPC HotString 2.0 - Hot keys with string x64 Bitwise Operations Multi-keyboards HotKeySet Recursive Array Display Fast and simple WCD IPC Multiple Folders Selector Printer Manager GIF Animation (cached) Debug Messages Monitor UDF Screen Scraping Round Corner GUI UDF Multi-Threading Made Easy Interface Object based on Tag
bduke77 Posted May 15, 2023 Author Posted May 15, 2023 I updated the json.au3 file and it appears to be working now, I appreciate all your help. thanks a bunch.
Danp2 Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 @bduke77 Glad I was able to get you pointed in the right direction. @Nine Thanks for the feedback. FWIW, there's an open issue on the GH repo to discuss adding examples. However, this isn't a priority for me ATM, so it will likely not change unless someone else decides to submit a PR.
