How to dynamically load functions from external scripts after compilation?

Hello,

I'm trying to design a kind of plugin system.

I want to compile a main executable and later be able to add new functionality through external scripts without recompiling the main program.

(And i need it to be ByRef friendly)

There is an exemple :

main.au3

I tried (without any hope ^^') to fileRead the plugin.au3 and execute it without success

Any advice would be great ❤️

You cannot dynamically run unknown functions inside of a script unless it is coming from #include.
You can Run an external script after loading it, and exchange informations thru different mechanisms.  Maybe check my
multi-thread UDF.   It might give you some inspirations.

Unfortunately, my "$vars" is a 2D array, i can't pass it trough parameters like that (and it's a very big array so commandline parameters should fail)

I think, i'll make another process then use StdinWrite to pass the serialized array

We did "some" working solution in wd_demo.au3

Execute func doesn't works for me because i want some interaction with main program, not just executing some arbitrary code.

I succeeded by passing my information via StdinWrite and providing feedback via ConsoleWrite.

 

Main can be compiled, it works
