I was able to reproduce this issue as well although it seems I had to do some other keystrokes to get it producing the commentblock issue.

Could you guys try the current SciLexer.dll available in beta to see if that also fixes it for you?

I was able to reproduce using mlipok's reproducer. I can confirm that the issue is fixed with the beta version of the lexer.

One is the editor and the second is the interface other applications can interact with also known as SciTE Director.

still, the return code is "0". so no need to worry about the missing "tidyscite.session"?

Tidy will do a Save/Session into "%temp%tidyscite.session" to save the current Folds and Bookmarks before updating the scriptfile file.

When the Tidy process ends it will open the file in an attempt to restore all Folds and Bookmarks.

I will have to see why this issue could happen unless you know why Tidy is unable to Create the file.

HOWTO Reproduce issue:

delete "$sParam1" from line number 3

type them manually in the same place

watch out for calltips (here you see issue = Calltips blinking)

type the same string in line 4

watch out for calltips (normal calltips behavior)

There are a set of LUA scripts, mainly written by Valik, that enhance the standard way the Calltips and AutoComplete work in SciTE.

Instead having to manually start either the AutoComplete or Calltips, they will show up automatically.

I do not see an constant popup of the Calltips or the AutoComplete window, when following your steps.

Even I have a problem to repeat the problem.

But not always, but the elapse of time it appears.

 

I have a feeling that when you write $sPar and staying in the middle of a word it is as if he wanted to appear calltips guide but soon disappears.

 

Interestingly, when you type  $sPar CTRL+{ENTER} calltips guide appears, but does not want to appear by itself.

This problem (not appearing calltips guide), it seems that there is only in conjunction with the keyword #forceref
