How to find the checkbox is checked or not

Hi,

I need to know if  the checkbox is checked or not in the form,not the one created in autoit

what i'm trying to do is,i have to check the particular checkbox is checked or not...if it is checked then i have to leave like that only else i have to checkin...

i checked controlcommand() in help...ControlCommand ( "title", "text", controlID, "command" [, "option"] ) but here i dont know what to give for controlid......when i used autoit window info...the following details were coming..

Class:Internet Explorer_Server
ClassnameNN:Internet Explorer_Server1
Advanced Mode:[CLASS:Internet Explorer_Server; INSTANCE:1]
Position:0,63
ControlClick Coords:582,374

Please let me know what i can give for controlid from above details

Sometimes it can be challenging. I had an example similar, where I could read everything except that state of checkboxes. Ended up doing a checksum of the pixels, based on origin of control and a matrix of 10x10 (or something). Essentially this would turn out two values: one for checked, one for not.

Now, this may require the window to be visible. Not sure if you can do that. I could.

My code looked something like:

   local $matrix_size = 10              ; depending on your checkbox sizes.
    local $chkON = "1984572738"  ; adjust to fit your own. Make a test run...
    local $chkOFF = "79385235"  ; adjust to fit your own. Make a test run... this should not be needed really anyways.
AutoItSetOption("PixelCoordMode", 0)  ; relative to WINDOW
$boldStatus = PixelChecksum($oleft, $otop, $left+ $matrix_size , $otop + $matrix_size)
_is_on_off($boldStatus, $chkON, "BOLD")
 
Func _is_on_off($var, $onvalue, $displaytext)
    if $var = $onvalue then
        ConsoleWrite($displaytext & " is ON " & @LF)
    Else
        ConsoleWrite(displaytext & " is OFF " & @LF)

There are possibly many other ways to solve the problem.

I am just a hobby programmer, and nothing great to publish right now.
