Need Help With GUICtrlCreateObj and ObjCreate

Recommended Posts

AbdulAzeez

Created .Net Component working well in Visual Studio and i have registed it using RegAsm. Problem with Autoit , Controller not showing on AutoIt Form

#include <StaticConstants.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
#Include <GuiButton.au3>

$Test = GUICreate("Test",350,350,-1,-1,-1,-1)

$button = GUICtrlCreateButton("Get text", 50, 150, 100, 20)

$CustomComboBox = ObjCreate("CustomComboBox.CustomComboBox")
$GUIActiveX = GUICtrlCreateObj ($CustomComboBox, 12, 12, 217, 21)

  While 1
        $msg = GUIGetMsg()
        Switch $msg
            Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
                ExitLoop
        EndSwitch
    WEnd

Above code add button to drop down combo box, it shows the button instead of drop down list.

Following are Object Properties

$CustomComboBox.AllowResizeDropDown = False / True
$CustomComboBox.ControlSize.Width = 1
$CustomComboBox.ControlSize.Height = 1

$CustomComboBox.DropDownControl = Nothing / $button

$button which i have created earlier

$CustomComboBox.Location.X = 12
$CustomComboBox.Location.Y = 12
$CustomComboBox.Size.Width = 217
$CustomComboBox.Size.Height = 21
$CustomComboBox.DropSize.Width = 121
$CustomComboBox.DropSize.Height = 106
$CustomComboBox.Name = "MyCustomComboBox"

Please Help me with this.

Try this:

#include <StaticConstants.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
#Include <GuiButton.au3>

$Test = GUICreate("Test",350,350,-1,-1,-1,-1)

$button = GUICtrlCreateButton("Get text", 240, 310, 100, 20)

$CustomComboBox = ObjCreate("CustomComboBox.CustomComboBox")
$GUIActiveX = GUICtrlCreateObj ($CustomComboBox, 12, 12, 217, 21)
GUISetState()

  While 1
        $msg = GUIGetMsg()
        Switch $msg
            Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
                ExitLoop
        EndSwitch
    WEnd

in your script the "Get Text"-Button overlapps the activexcontrol. The GUI was also not shown.

Thanks but it's still not working with

GUISetState()

Button not overlapping on it.

I think Component need .net framework to run in AutoIt.

Does any one have any idea how to include .net Framework in AutoIt. ( .net 4.0)

AbdulAzeez,

You appear not to have read the Forum rules since your arrival. Please do read them - particularly the bit about not asking for help via PM - before you post again.

M23

Edit: I have just seen your post above - an attitude change is required pretty quickly.
