Are the source codes for this extension available?

How reliable is the author?

The project is interesting especially in view of the imminent abandonment of Internet Explorer, but what guarantees are there on the genuineness of the extension?

I don't want to have bad surprises.

The latest reliable technology to automate Browsers is WebDriver.
See the wiki page and the last section (references) there for further information.

yes I know, I have tried it but I find it much more complicated to use.

In addition, WebDriver creates problems with sites that require authentication, for example I can not use it with Youtube Studio or other sites because they see that they are automated processes.
At least this is my experience.

This has come up before. See here for one instance and an option that should allow it to work.

FWIW, I view this as a website induced problem where they are attempting to block automation. Placing the blame on Webdriver is misplaced IMO. 🙂

Maybe I expressed myself wrongly.

Of course it's not WebDriver's fault but the site blocking it.

That's why it's not a solution I can use for some projects.

That's why I wanted to try "Chrome UDF", but what security is there on the binaries that you are going to install?

No source code available? Even similar or to be improved.
