For anyone who has amended the build scripts, will know why I am not keen on adding this in it's current state.

I understand.
So it may, in such cases:
$iCharSet
[optional] The character set. It can be one of the following values.
    $ANSI_CHARSET
    $BALTIC_CHARSET
    $CHINESEBIG5_CHARSET
    $DEFAULT_CHARSET (Default)
    $EASTEUROPE_CHARSET
    $GB2312_CHARSET
    $GREEK_CHARSET
    $HANGEUL_CHARSET
    $MAC_CHARSET
    $OEM_CHARSET
    $RUSSIAN_CHARSET
    $SHIFTJIS_CHARSET
    $SYMBOL_CHARSET
    $TURKISH_CHARSET
    $VIETNAMESE_CHARSET

    Korean language edition of Windows:
    $JOHAB_CHARSET

Middle East language edition of Windows:
    $ARABIC_CHARSET
    $HEBREW_CHARSET

    Thai language edition of Windows:
    $THAI_CHARSET
$iOutPrecision

eventually may be used such a solution:

$iCharSet
[optional] The character set. It can be one of the following values.
    $ANSI_CHARSET
    $BALTIC_CHARSET
    $CHINESEBIG5_CHARSET
    $DEFAULT_CHARSET (Default)
    $EASTEUROPE_CHARSET
    $GB2312_CHARSET
    $GREEK_CHARSET
    $HANGEUL_CHARSET
    $MAC_CHARSET
    $OEM_CHARSET
    $RUSSIAN_CHARSET
    $SHIFTJIS_CHARSET
    $SYMBOL_CHARSET
    $TURKISH_CHARSET
    $VIETNAMESE_CHARSET
    [hr]
    Korean language edition of Windows:
    $JOHAB_CHARSET
    [hr]
Middle East language edition of Windows:
    $ARABIC_CHARSET
    $HEBREW_CHARSET
    [hr]
    Thai language edition of Windows:
    $THAI_CHARSET
$iOutPrecision

What I think should give the same effect, I mean:

proposal:

<tr>
   <td></td>
   <td>Korean language edition of Windows:<br>
       $JOHAB_CHARSET
<hr>Middle East language edition of Windows:<br>
       $ARABIC_CHARSET<br>
       $HEBREW_CHARSET</td>
  </tr>

In such a case, such a solution would be possible ?

Hello

Do you not think that it would be interesting to note in the UDF ARRAY if the command works with 2D or 1D array ?

It is seen in the results of the error, but it would be more visible at the top of the help page.

And should it not review these commands so that they also work with 2D ARRAY ?

Thank you

I made a rudimentary attempt at making the 1D array functions work somewhat with 2D arrays, the link is in my signature but hasn't been updated in a long time so it's not current with what's included with AutoIt in the latest version. At least it might give you an idea as to what is needed.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Why does the help file has changed the look - I mean from a visually pleasing version to a puristic looking version?

Forget it! I installed today some MS patches which changed someting in the compiled HTML view.  :(

Following my thread about ubyte in structures, which Jon wants removed. Merely a note to self but your opinions are of course welcome.

ubyte appears in the following documentation pages:

DllStructCreate done

DllStructGetData done

DllStructSetData done

and in the following files:

Hilfe Checken.au3 (that line misses double, wparam, ... is that OK?)   <-- not done

$tagGETIPAddress.txt done

_WinAPI_DisplayStruct.txt done

DllStructCreate datatypes done

HWND and HANDLE described as "32bit(4bytes) integer".
ptr described as "32 or 64bit unsigned integer (depending on if the x86 or x64 version of AutoIt is used)" but read back as Pointer type.

All three types should be described as "32 or 64bit pointer (depending on if the x86 or x64 version of AutoIt is used)".

DllStructGetData documentation done

Was:

###Remarks###
When the element is char[n] or wchar[n] and index is omitted the data returned is a <a href="String.htm">String()</a>,
when the element is byte[n] and index is omitted the data returned is a binary type,
otherwise it always returns a number.

The first remark is misleading (whatever indexing is used or not, the returned type is String)
The last underlined part is completely wrong: returned type is the "best fit" corresponding AutoIt Datatype.

DllStructSetData documentation done

Rephrased a few points unclear or untrue. Added remark about implicit conversion of strings to ANSI when copied to char[n] or byte[n] elements.

DllStruct functions documentation done

Various typos and casing.

ubyte in UDFs appear in:

GDIPlus.au3 done

WinAPIDiag.au3 done

WinAPIProc.au3 done

Hilfe Checken.au3 is not used anymore as discussed in the MVP section, so it's OK if it wasn't changed.

Edit: Also, you could have done one single commit under all the files you changed.

PS. Thanks for changing them for me.

Yes, my bad. DllCall description made me write that, plus:

Local $t = DllStructCreate('handle;hwnd;ptr')
DllStructSetData($t, 1, 0x1234)
DllStructSetData($t, 1, 0x2345)
DllStructSetData($t, 1, 0x3456)
ConsoleWrite(VarGetType(DllStructGetData($t, 1)) & @LF)
ConsoleWrite(VarGetType(DllStructGetData($t, 2)) & @LF)
ConsoleWrite(VarGetType(DllStructGetData($t, 3)) & @LF)

But that's a pointer-size unsigned integer and because we don't have a genuine uint64 type.

I shouldn't commit to svn at that time in night >_<

Commited.

Commited.

But it's not integer, nor is ever treated as such. It's handle, window handle and finally pointer. First two are aliases for pointer type.

So why do we get PTR and not HWND and HANDLE when we inquire the type of the data read back for the first two elements?

2. It seems that the function looks for the first file.

Can so:

Returns an object with a set of properties for a file search
Returns object with a set of properties for file search

ATTENTION! THIS IS STILL WORK IN PROGRESS!
This is the modified version of MrCreatoR's "Simple Library Docs Generator".
It allows to create CHM help files that look like the AutoIt help file.
In additon this CHM files can then be used with Advanced.Help.
This a very early alpha version - so it is miles away from being perfect. It's just something for you to play with.
The documentation is in the making and will be published as soon as possible.

BTW: If you like this UDF please click the "I like this" button. This tells me where to next put my development effort

I went to go edit my Au3Check parameters today, opened the SciTE4AutoIt3 helpfile to review the options, and could only find this:
#AutoIt3Wrapper_Au3Check_Parameters= ;Au3Check parameters...see SciTE4AutoIt3 Helpfile for options Am I missing them elsewhere in the helpfile, or is this a circular reference?  (My helpfile was last updated in the history on 23-3-2021)

Due to corona I have a  lot of spare time at the moment. So I started to create a "real" help file fo the AD UDF (MS Active Directory).
This help file should look/work like the AutoIt help file.

Attached you find the first beta of the AD help file.

      Done so far:
Similar functions have been assigned to a group (example: mail, mailbox and Exchange related functions have been assigned to the "EMail" group) Content, Search and Index tabs work Formatting is similar to the AutoIt help file Introduction page ToDo:
Fill index tab Use folder icons Set the correct font size for the TOC Enhance the CSS to fully match the formatting of the AutoIt help file Create a documentation so you can create CHM files for other homegrown UDFs Create pages for the chapters - return an error message at the moment Upgrade to the latest version of Microsoft HTML Workshop Seems 1.3 is the latest What do you think?
Is something still missing on the ToDo-list?
      Comments please
      AD.chm

I tried to create a ticket and Trac told me my submission looks like spam.  I do not see a captcha on either of the submission or "spam" screens...

      Tiny little documenation issue:
      GUICtrlRegisterListViewSort
      Example 1 on Line 17
The documentation refers to the function "SortLV" where it is in fact "LVSort" used in the example.
      Example 2 uses "LVSort2" (correct)

      Hi,
been searching for a way to Pause a HotKeySet and it would seem that the Help File has one beautifully prepared.
But it turns out that Pause does not stop the HotKeySet from working.
Anyone know why? And/Or how to fix it?
      Thanks,
      Bill
